About the Event

White Gum FarmWho Is The Event For?

The idea of WESTFLY is to provide a single venue for a gathering of all aviators and aviation enthusiasts. In short it is for everyone. We want you all to fly or drive to enjoy a weekend of aviation with like minded people.

It is not restricted to RA-Aus registered aircraft. We don’t mind if you fly or RA-Aus, GA, GFA, HGFA, ASRA plus any that I might have missed, or even if you don’t fly at all. You are all welcome at our event.

What Do I Need to Bring?

The most important thing to bring will be yourself and somewhere to sleep. Underwing camping is allowed and encouraged as this is what it is all about. There are facilities to bring a caravan or camper and if you are really quick you might be able to book one of the accommodation units on the venue.

You will be able to buy your food and soft drinks on the venue with local community groups joining in to provide all of your meals. There is nothing like country hospitality after all. If you plan on staying overnight and would like an evening meal on the field it would help if you could advise us, via the contact email link, to ensure that we cater for enough diners.

What Is There to See and Do?

While a great many of you will want to just mix with other aviators and swap stories there will also be more for you. With displays and plenty of aviation activity.
